Dear Parents:

This year for Homecoming (February 12th) we will be including two girl representatives from the elementary grades and one representative each from the 7th and 8th grades. There will be one girl from K5-2nd grades and one girl from 3rd-6th grades. They will participate in the ceremony with the homecoming queen and her court. They will carry the following titles:

K5-2nd Duchess
3rd-6th Princess
7th Grade Court Representative
8th Grade Court Representative

They will be elected by pennies. Each penny turned into the school represents one vote for that student. (Example $1.00 = 100 votes.) You may solicit votes from friends, relatives, etc. (If you could exchange pennies for bills, it would help us greatly when counting the votes.)

All money must be turned into your child’s teacher. The deadline is Tuesday, JANUARY 19th AT 8:00 A.M. (No extensions will be allowed.) The winners will be announced that day. The Homecoming ceremony will be before the game on February 12th.

Parents, please designate how much money is being turned in and label for whom it is being credited. This is ESSENTIAL! It will greatly reduce the confusion.

Each girl that is elected will have to have her dress brought to school and approved before January 29h. Also, each girl will have her father (grandfather, etc.) escort them. The escort will be responsible for renting a tuxedo for the evening. We have worked out an arrangement with After Hours Wear for rental of a basic tux and shoes. This is always a night of fun and memories. We hope you will get involved. All monies raised go to offset the expenses of Homecoming and to support the athletic budget.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact the school office.

Thanks for your support,

Mr. Randy Youmans
Athletic Director
