Dear Parents:

Several Reminders:

1.  We are now halfway through the school year.  It has gone by quickly.  First semester ends on January 14th.  Report cards will be going out on Thursday, January 22nd.

2. Re-enrollment month is February.  Information and re-enrollment packets will be sent home in a few weeks.

3.  Homecoming will be Friday, February 13th.  The deadline for the Duchess/Princess is Friday, January 16th at 8:00 AM.   (NO EXCEPTIONS.)  The winners will be announced that day.  The SPIRIT RING COMPETITION is under way.  The children know what this is for.  The cost is 25 cents per ring.

4.  There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 20th.  This is our annual couples’ conference weekend.

5.  We have several new shirts with the “old logo” available.  We are selling these for $5.00 per shirt.  Please remember that the “old logo” is only good for the remainder of this school year.  New logos must be worn for the 2009/2010 school year.

Several announcements:

1.  If children are running a fever, they must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to school.  We have had too many children come to school that have been running fevers the night before or that morning and were given medicine.  We do not give medicine, so when their medication wears off, the fever comes back and they are contagious.

2.  We have had a lot of excessive tardies.  We are very understanding when it comes to being tardy for various reasons, but tardies disrupt the classroom in the mornings.  We ask that the students please be on time.

3.  We are having a alot of students leave early “just because”.  Once again, this disrupts the classroom when the student leaves early.  School is in session until 3:00.
